InQuiring Minds hires teachers trained in the field of early childhood
education in accordance with the State of New Jersey, Bureau of Licensing. Our
teachers are group teacher certified and many of our instructional assistants
are working towards their CDA credential or continuing education in college.
Our centers are licensed by the State of New Jersey, Bureau of Licensing
Services, which monitors both the curriculum and safety features of the
building. For the welfare of our children, all staff members have
received First Aid training from the American Red Cross, including C.P.R. and
blood born pathogens.
Our staff participates in a continuous program of in-service education and
studies for professional advancement in order to remain alert to the
ever-changing needs of today's families and to the findings of current research.
Many staff are members of the National Association for the Education of Young
Children and additional child care associations.
Our center staff includes a program owner that holds a master's degree in
education administration and public policy with specialization in early childhood. She
will receive her principal certification from Rutger's University in May of 2005. Both the Center Director and Afternoon Supervisor are on-site
managers and each holds a CDA credential in early childhood. Our
curriculum specialist holds a Bachelor's degree in Education and ensures that
our lesson plans are aligned to both the Core Curriculm Content Standards (CCCS)
and the Early Childhood Expectations Standards of Quality. Our head
teacher has over twenty years of early childhood teaching experience. All
staff receive continuing education credits for professional development that
surpasses licensing requirements.
